Written Confession: Possession and Paranormal Stories Father W.
The following written confession was submitted via email:
I lived in Colorado for a time and was a member of the Liberal Catholic Church, which separated from the Catholic Church in the early part of the 20th century because they disagreed with the doctrine that the pope was infallible. They believed that part of more advanced spiritual development were paranormal gifts and miracles. The priest was a history professor at the local university. He told me the story of a young man in Africa who had won a scholarship to the university, beating out the son of the local witch doctor. The young man, living in America now, began having headaches and feeling ill. He and his wife went to several doctors and specialists but it could not be determined that anything was wrong with him. Finally, one of the professors at the university recommended he see my priest. Father W. determined that the witch doctor had put a curse on the young man as revenge for his own son not getting the scholarship. Father W. put salt around the bottom of the windows and door of their apartment as well as doing other things that he did not go into and the young man was well again. After a month the wife decided to clean away all the salt and other things that had been placed in the apartment. The young man began having the headaches and feeling sick again. They contacted Father W. who again placed salt and other objects in the apartment and told them that they would have to leave those things there. We have a better understanding of psychic attacks now because of the information that has come out regarding the military remote viewing project so the above occurrence does not seem so strange anymore.
Another story told to me by Father W. involved a little girl of about 7. One evening while at home the little girl started screaming and nothing the parents did could induce her to stop. After hours of this a friend told them to contact Father W. as they thought she might be possessed. Father W. came to their house and after an investigation he determined that there was a dimensional portal in the girl’s bedroom and a creature from another dimension had come through, didn’t know how to get back, and was using the little girl as a plea for help. But, not knowing how to operate a human body very well, the creature was only able to get her to scream. Father W. helped the creature back through the portal and then closed it and they had no further problems.
