Surpassing even the most heinous crimes of Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy, the FBI has confirmed that murderer Samuel Little now holds the title of 'The Worst Serial Killer in U.S. History.’ Little has been serving three consecutive life sentences for killing three women in Los Angeles, but recently confessed to an astonishing 90 more murders; the FBI has already verified 50 of them. Although Little began his killing spree in 1970, he was not captured and convicted until 2012, giving him ample time and freedom to became the United States’ most prolific serial murderer.
History is marred by countless accounts of murderers who committed heinous acts and gruesome killings. Arguably some of the darkest crimes were the work of repeating offenders - serial killers who left their stain on the world over and over again with each horrifying act. Some of these criminals were caught and tried for their crimes, while others remained anonymous and at large. Among them all, there also seems to be a number of killers who continue their reign of terror, even after their own deaths.
