READ: FEMA Official’s Strange Waffle House Teleportation Claim Resurfaces

Gregg Phillips, a conspiracy theorist and current head of FEMA’s Office of Response and Recovery, has drawn attention for a series of unusual claims involving alleged teleportation events.

Phillips has reportedly described the incidents during appearances on several podcasts, recounting experiences that sound more like paranormal events than unexpected travel mishaps.

In one account, Phillips claimed he was driving when his vehicle was suddenly lifted into the air by an unseen force and moved roughly 40 miles. When the ordeal ended, he said the car had been deposited in a ditch near a church.

Adding to his experience, Phillips alleged that he was once driving with his sons when they decided to stop at a Waffle House. Without warning, he said, the vehicle was somehow “teleported” about 50 miles to Rome, Georgia, where it reappeared near a Waffle House.

“Teleporting is no fun,” Phillips said during an appearance on the Onward podcast. “You know it’s happening, but you can’t do anything about it, and so you just go with the ride.”

Whether the incidents were misunderstood events, embellished memories, or something stranger, the Waffle House teleportation story remains one of the more strange and mysterious claims connected to a high-ranking government figure.
