Written Confession: A Park Ranger's Strange Campfire Story

The following written confession was shared via Reddit by ParkRangerChris:

On a night in 2006 or 2007 (A guess) i noticed a camp fire in the distance and i went to investigate as setting up camps in this area was not allowed as conservation efforts where in place. I walked over no-one was here and thought what idiots would let a fire unattended. So i went over there were about 2 tents from what i remember and no-one there i radioed in and asked for a couple of guys to come to clean-up. When they arrived i went to look for any sign that people were around. I looked about for a couple of minutes didn't find anything. Then we all left after extinguishing the fire and clearing up we had one guy stay there as we had unattended equipment. Then i went back to the office i was due a break. After the break i went out and saw a group of 3 who seemed fairly distressed i approached them and asked them what they're doing down this neck of the woods and they said that they were camping and had been told to leave their campsite immediately. I become suspicious as we had no Rangers working there. I asked them who they saw and they said that he was wearing very old fashioned clothes and he supposedly had no face at this point shivers was sent down my spine i told them to go and collect their equipment and they went to get their equipment then i saw them leaving. I have only mentioned this to my friend who works in the park from 2006. He hasn't had any reports of such thing up to this day. This one of my scariest stories. I still have no clue what happened but when hearing that in the dark and in the middle of the woods shiver were sent down my spine.
